Monday Movie Club

A little jaded with the limitations of mainstream film blockbusters?  Interested in the wider context, history and development of cinema?  Wish you could see what is happening in global film-making?

Then make Monday Movie Club a regular diary date.  This fortnightly cinema slot is where we screen a wide range of movies from interesting directors and companies across the world.

All screenings have a short introduction from local film enthusiast Karl Gernert or a guest speaker, and Programme notes and Reviews are also provided.

In the past actors, producers and film-technicians have occasionally dropped in to give us an insight into movie-making too!

We particularly welcome ideas, feedback and suggestions from the Monday Movie Night audience – - if you would like to suggest a film and act as introductory speaker for the evening – it is all possible!
